Our Pastors/Elders
God’s word instructs churches to maintain two offices. The first office is signified in Scripture by the titles "pastor" (Ephesians 4:11), "elder" (Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 1:1-5), and "overseer" (1 Timothy 3:1-7), and it is to be filled by men, qualified in character and competency, who lead and shepherd the church through prayer and the ministry of God's Word.
Our Deacons
The second office that God’s word instructs a church to maintain is the office of deacon. The word “deacon” means servant, and the office of deacon is to be filled by men and women in the church of upstanding character who support the work of the elders, caring for the church in exemplary practical service (1 Timothy 3:8-13, Acts 6:1-6).
Additional Staff
In addition to some of the officers of the church who are employed by the church, our church staff includes other members of the church who support the work of the church by carrying out back-office administrative tasks.
